    Gotta love the old dude at ADA. He won’t get into it…the planned meals for diabetic people because he knows that those meals are KEEPING these people SICK! They make their money off of our illnesses, NOT off of us that remain healthy. They WANT/NEED us (or as many of us as they can lure in) to STAY sick! It’s all about the money…and nothing about true health. We aren’t stupid up in here! They just think we are.

    Can't go entirely vegan due to low iron (red meat gives me the iron I desperately need) but I have been eating less meat for a few weeks and I definitely feel healthier! Don't forget to drink water, walk daily, and sleep well <3

    I'm Indian and more amazed by these comments than the documentary. Eating plant-based is common sense in Ayurveda, and our docs always say – aharam maha bhaishajyam – translated as – food is the most important medicine. Having lived much of my life eating mostly plant-based, the ignorance in a technologically advanced country like the US is mindboggling. We have Western healthcare systems with the same philosophy of profit over people. We also have the Eastern healthcare systems that offer holistic care for a fraction of the cost, and even for free to those who can't afford it.

    I followed a vegan diet many years ago, and I saw instant results. I lost 13 pounds within the first month. My digestion improved and skin cleared up. I’ve just decided to go back, and I’m sure I will see similar results soon. This time I will stick to it for good.

    This film is all over the place. The only unifying theme is animal-foods-bad. They'd have been more successful if they'd focused on one issue and addressed detractors instead of jumping all over the place. There are links, for instance, between saturated fat and diabetes, but that issue deserves it's only single film.

    NURSES' HEALTH STUDY and HEALTH PROFESSIONALS FOLLOW-UP STUDY: These long-term cohort studies in the United States involved over 200,000 participants. Dementia risk rose by 14% when people ate about 1 ounce of processed red meat a day. The risk for dementia dropped by 20%, however, for people who replaced that small daily serving of processed red meat with a daily serving of nuts and legumes.

They found that a higher intake of plant-based foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, was associated with a lower risk of coronary heart disease. The emphasis on plant-based sources of protein was particularly noteworthy.

    13:00 my mother was that size and she died of a blood clot in her heart. She was only 42 at the time. I'm turning 29 this year and my older sister is 31, I have found the holy grail to healthy and sustainable lifestyle and my sister is still eating the way we were taught to eat, meat dairy and eggs. I have to be mentally prepared for the day she might not make it after 42 yo.

    Much of the scientific evidence presented in this documentary is completely made up or misrepresented Which is a shame because focusing solely on the corruption aspect would have surely produced a stronger documentary.

    I swear, everytime I see these diet docs, the end result and bottom line to EVERYTHING questionable is $$$$$$. I guess I can't be too shocked since the U.S. thrives upon capitalism. Though some of these interviews and discovered mysteries can be pretty remarkable, I'm still not surprised once money is tossed into the mix. Shit, I suppose the best example is when a filthy rich convicted felon can become president of the U.S.A. Not only does that display the power of wealth, but the sad reality that the American majority allowed this to happen. Okay, okay… Ranty McPreacherton signing off😏
