Honestly, it breaks my heart how Manifest and Receive by Eva Hartley isn’t getting the attention it deserves. This book changed me. I saw the channel on youtube and my mind was blown. People need to wake up to this. Things have been flowing. money, peace, confidence. Maybe this is your moment too.
I always thought that all women hooked their bra in front and then spin it around. I have never pinned my bra behind me. And I'm not talking about a front closure bra.🤔
So I've been running for ~20 years and have done weight training as well. Done every interval and repeat type with great success.
These protocols are often coming from people that preach and don't actually do the workouts. What they really don't understand is that you need to either be youthful or fit to begin with to run max effort for 30s and then repeat it. If you think this sounds easy just try running max effort for 15s. These sessions are very potent medicine but also very difficult or even impossible for unfit / untrained people who are the targets of this content. However, my suggestion is to start these types of workouts at "comfortably hard" where you can fulfill your goal of say 6 repeats. That might be barely running to start with, but your body will adapt quickly. Then build on that. Even well trained athletes may struggle with 30s max effort x 4-8 reps, especially since their output is actually very high.
Love her reaction to how much the mice treadmills cost😂
That's pure stupidity, a high recipe asking for sudden death from thrombosis due to plaque fallen off.
I fear I will be my family’s caregiver because nobody want to change. 😥 I’m working my but off I feel just so to end up a caregiver full time😢

So apparently I missed it ❓❓❓
What burns the fat faster than a Run ❓❓❓❓
Hmm 30 seconds of maximume effort is not going to hsppen unless a bear is behind me. Also id probably trip and break a tooth. Really rather be sick for 10 years when im old than drink whey and run very fast for 30 seconds… eating healthy and general excercise fine. But none of this 10 squats every 45 minutes or sprinting for 30 seconds nonsense. Or avoiding glucose spikes. I will happily take 10 to 20 yeears of illness for some glucose spikes and never ever running to the macium im capable of. 😂
Disappointing that this is an identical podcast to the one with Mel Robbins – OH we'll!
Her practice must be heavily female, I assume? Her energy level spikes when she talks about women
Different fits for different folks. I’m not a fan of her. Her information may or may not be helpful but I don’t like her delivery. I’m 68 and I don’t sit around all day lady. I own 4 businesses and I’m active in all of them to different degrees. I don’t get a grant for a mice treadmill 😊
Dr. Vonda is absolutely right—this flips the old “just go for a long run” advice on its head. What she’s saying makes total sense: short, strategic movements in your 30s can spark far more fat burn than slogging through endless cardio. It’s about training smarter, not harder. This approach respects aging and metabolism. More people need to hear this.
how do you do that with bad knees
I don't even need to listen to this I don't know it's bullshit it just doesn't work that way. If it did everybody would fucking be doing it lady. God the internet just preys on ignorant people without any kind of like concept of reality.
Is drinking alcohol bad for your muscles?
Kapalabhati I heard here
Burn through fat with toning movements.
I’m 64 so I’m in the “much, much, much harder” age bracket to get my act together 😩😳😣
I have found that Dancing and a dance class where you following an instructor listen to the beat and move. Your body is amazingly rejuvenating at any age. In my class are people from 20s to maybe 80 and everybody smiling. Do you have any comments about that?
So, wait… she runs Z2 for 45 minutes and ends that with 30 seconds burst of high intensity run. You know what that means? It means there are no shortcuts. Put in the hours, train, eat right. Unless you have a genetic predisposition and you balloon from eating a banana, you will lose weight.
What an amazing woman with a beautiful soul
Shouldn't you be building up a good running base before you start doing sprints?
I love her even more now after watching this episode ❤👏🏻💪🏻
Hello I just subscribed to check if u fulfill ur promise. I want you to interview UN reporteur Francesca Albanese
To enhance strength, mobility, and agility as suggested by Dr. Vonda Wright, here are some practical activities you can incorporate into your routine:
### Strength Training
1. Weight Lifting: Focus on compound movements like squats, deadlifts, and bench presses to build overall strength.
2. Bodyweight Exercises: Incorporate push-ups, lunges, and planks to strengthen various muscle groups without equipment.
3. Resistance Bands: Use resistance bands for exercises like rows and shoulder presses to improve strength and stability.
### Mobility Exercises
1. Dynamic Stretching: Perform dynamic stretches such as leg swings and arm circles to improve flexibility and range of motion before workouts.
2. Yoga or Pilates: Engage in yoga or Pilates classes to enhance flexibility, core strength, and overall mobility.
3. Foam Rolling: Use a foam roller to release muscle tightness and improve mobility in key areas like the back, hips, and legs.
### Agility Training
1. Ladder Drills: Set up an agility ladder and practice various footwork patterns to improve speed and coordination.
2. Cone Drills: Use cones to create a course for quick directional changes, enhancing your agility and balance.
3. Hurdle Drills: Incorporate low hurdles or obstacles to practice jumping and quick foot movements, which can help with agility.
### General Tips
– Consistency: Aim to incorporate these exercises into your routine at least 3-4 times a week.
– Progress Gradually: Start with lighter weights or simpler movements and gradually increase intensity as you become more comfortable.
– Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to how your body responds and adjust your routine as needed to avoid injury.
By integrating these activities into your lifestyle, you can improve your strength, mobility, and agility, ultimately enhancing your overall health and well-being as you age.
I do feel this was too long. Love your pods Steven just a little editing needed i felt
Gladys McGarey , The Well Lived Life – what an inspirational woman. Dr Vonda Wright you have truly "got it". Romans 12.2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
You know, its great to have all these talks but i find myself drifting under the weight of all this pressure to be perfect! And when i drift i see my parents. My dad kept fit, putting lots of effort into keeping healthy. My mom, a different story. Picture him out walking cycling socailing, picture her pottering around the house, taking regular naps and smoking 20 + ciggerettes a day, happy in her own company. My dad died aged 76, 2 years before my mom, who was 76 when she died. So when it comes down to it he lived how he wanted and so did she. Happy in their own existence. He couldn't do her life and she couldn't do his. That's what i picture. Pick the life you want. He wanted to fight age and ill health, he lost. He developed multiple illness including diabetes and dimentia which finished him off. She didn't fight and she developed diabetes on top of the copd which finished her off. Same ending, same age. So i think I'll work at being able to do what i need to do at this moment in time and let the future worry about itself.
Great speaker! Very motivating
For the American audience….the other player at Manchester United Stephen is talking about is Wayne Rooney.
I would subscribe, but you ramble on. Most of us know basis health info. Condense the content, 30 minutes max,
I'm willing to bet he was comparing Ronaldo to Rooney.
Every minute of this 2 hour video was worth it!
Thank you Stephen for bringing Dr. Wright on and sharing her knowledge and viewpoint with more people.
Best interview ever!! Love this woman! We all need hope. We all want to be in control of our health and aging!! Thank you for the conbination of information and inspiration! 🙂
(Doing this for 30s) in which chapter of this interview please ?
You convinced me to subscribe! Good luck !
Great interview! Love this perspective. I am a nurse practitioner and work with plenty of surgeons. The surgeons and other MDs that were nurses prior have a very different perspective.
These things take too long to watch, just get to the point.
Bro you need to quit with the asking people to subscribe. You already have your people and those of us that have subscribed are sick of the same message. Also this woman is preaching truth but she sure as hell isn't practicing it
Is there an expert on sitting postures for people working on table all day? You should totally do an interview with that person!
I have long known that the women’s health study was flawed, but now, as I’m entering my 70’s, and I’m ready to fight for HRT, because doctors and O’b gyns ar eSTILL against it in my area, then I hear that it’s inductive to a greater likelihood of dementia, some say the opposite-that it helps your brain stay healthy. So which is it? I have osteoporosis, so it would be good for my bones, but what about my brain? My mother and maternal grandmother had dementia, probably Alzheimer’s.
