If your oats are gluten-free, you need to add oil into the mixture to get soft and foldable tortilla. . Otherwise the tortilla will not be soft, and it will cracks every time you fold it.
I definitely don’t recommend this at all. They are always uncooked inside. I recommend kneading a dough with it flour and then making tortillas like the wheat ones
I added a bit of tapioca starch to the recipe. It didn't break when rolled and had a better texture than the first time i made this using your recipe. I also added some garlic powder, salt, oil, and dried herbs to the mixture before cooking
LIES!!! The recipe that is linked has 4 ingredients. 2 cup rolled oats 1 ½ cups water, up to 2 to 2 1/2 cups of water ½ tsp salt 1 tbsp nutritional yeast

Girl…… THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!! Me and mom made thesse and we absolutley LOVE THEM!
Currently letting my oats soak in water
Can you make pizzas with these?
Chica just made a tortilla using the word batter but you know what my dad will love this thanks for the recipe
We had these for some shredded tofu tacos, we loved them. Had to thin the batter a bit more.
Keep them covered after taking them out of the pan.The steam will make them soft and stop them from cracking
Do they break can u bend them like a tortilla is it better to use oat flour
It doesn't seem to get done in the middle
Does it taste oaty?
Yalll this WORKS!! Absolute game changer! I used 2 cups oats and 1 and a half cups of water
nope, never bubble'd and ended up soggy in the middle
What's the ratio?
Recipe

FYI for people wondering I literally just made this, 1 1/2 cups water and 2 cups of oats for about 4-6 tortillas 🙂
I tried it but they end up crunchy. What shall I do to make them turn out soft ?
How would these hold up in a dish like enchiladas?
I just came from the gym I need them now why wait for an hour damn it
Did u use cold water room temperature or warm water

Do i jeed butter
How much of each?
everything this chef makes has a similiar dish in indian cuisine. but she is blissfully unaware of Indian cuisine
Me who just found out tortillas are chapatis in India 😢
You better season this if you try it. Oat flour tastes awful plain.
I’d say this is more like a pancake than tortilla
Add eggs too. It tastes better
Do they soak for an hour or 5 minutes. The video says an hour – the written recipe says 5 min. ???
oats are high in carbs!!! use oat "fiber" flour and a 1 tsp Xanthum for low carb tortillas.
why do they fall apart when I want to take them out of the pan, I'm doing something wrong

can i store oats wraps?

That Grab a pan at a much decibel was fun. By fun I mean ear damaging
One cup water , one cup oats
look like a roti
In India the combination of flour and water or in this case oats and water would be called a roti or chapati
I see that this video says soak for an hour the recipe says 5 mins. Maybe that’s a determining factor ?
Naw I tried this the exact same way and this never worked for me
I just wasted a ton of oats (even after following the full recipe) so thanks 😀
what is that thick black Sauce
You can count on certain people to not even season their tortillas. You always add salt to bread.

Showed this to my mom, she said it was a pancake, not a tortilla
Please do yourself a favor and put a teaspoon of baking podwer in the mix or the tortillas will fall appart and/or crack in the pan.
