I heard that Johnson's baby wash is NOT good for washing your face/eyes in the morning. Is there a preferred soap for such?

I apologize, but there seems to be a typo in your query. I believe you meant to ask about treating "blepharitis," not "bletharetas." I'll provide information on treating blepharitis based on the search results.

Blepharitis is a common eye condition that causes inflammation of the eyelids. While it cannot be permanently cured, its symptoms can be managed effectively through various treatments and self-care measures.

    ## Treatment Options

    ### Self-Care Measures

The primary treatment for blepharitis involves maintaining good eyelid hygiene:

    1. Apply warm compresses to your closed eyes for 5-10 minutes to loosen crusts and oil[1][4].

    2. Gently clean your eyelids using a mixture of warm water and mild cleanser (like baby shampoo) or over-the-counter eyelid cleansers[1][2].

    3. Massage your eyelids to help unclog oil glands[2].

    4. Rinse your eyelids with clean, warm water[2].

    ### Medications

If self-care measures aren't sufficient, your doctor may recommend:

    1. Antibiotics (topical or oral) to fight infection[1].

    2. Steroid eyedrops or ointments to control inflammation[1].

    3. Artificial tears to relieve dry eyes[1][3].

    4. Cyclosporine (Restasis) for immune system-related blepharitis[1].

    ### Advanced Treatments

For severe cases, your doctor might suggest:

    1. Microblepharoexfoliation to remove biofilm and crusting[3].

    2. Intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy to improve oil secretion and reduce redness[3].

    3. Thermal pulsation or expression to unclog oil glands[3].

    ## Prevention and Long-Term Management

To prevent recurrence and manage blepharitis long-term:

    1. Maintain daily eyelid hygiene routine[1][2].

    2. Avoid eye makeup during flare-ups and remove it thoroughly before bed[3][4].

    3. Consider dietary changes or omega-3 supplements, after consulting with your doctor[3].

    4. Treat underlying conditions like dandruff or rosacea[1].

Remember, blepharitis is often a chronic condition that requires ongoing management. Consult with your eye doctor for a personalized treatment plan and follow their instructions carefully.

I like his idea of the smoothies. I'm a care giver for my 93 y.o. mom. I make her a smoothie everyday. My biggest concern was her getting and occasional UTI from the uncooked vegetables, and someone at her age this can quickly turn into a very serious illness. My naturopathic Dr says to make sure to clean all fruits or vegetables before eating. He even recommended when coming in from the grocery to put them all in a plastic bucket or clean kitchen sink – including bananas, onions, and fill with water and add a tablespoon of chlorox and let them sit for 30", then rinse very very well, before you bring all these bugs in your house. He says, go look at the grocery of how many people are handling the food before they buy it. Also all these veggies could have eColi, which lives in the soil – even though they are "organic" – and need to wash them well. The naturopath also states, Dont eat any raw fruit /vegetables /salads, etc., from restaurants. No telling if, or how well, they were washed, or who has been handling them. He states, if you go to Asia – you'll rarely find any raw vegetables to eat, due to the high rate of disease there – everything is cooked well.

I have avoided much of this by buying FROZEN vegetables and fruit. They have all been rinsed and blanched before freezing. I make the smoothie with frozen spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, other greens; mango, pineapple, berry mix. Buy the chopped vegetables, which are easier to manage. Every couple of days I fill the smoothie containers with veggies and fruit, and put them back in the freezer, then put one in the fridge overnight to thaw. In the morning I add Almond Milk, water, yogurt, protein power, flax or chia seeds. I also get some green powders from Bulk Supplements – the green spirulinas and beet powders, and add some of that. I'm careful not adding too much, to not overwhelm her system.
Often I make her a chocolate smoothie with chocolate protein powder and peanut butter, and also with cauliflower and broccoli and fruit -blueberries or pineapple – it's amazing, it tastes like a chocolate smoothie – you cant taste the vegetables.

I hope this helps everyone. It's very easy to make, and I think easiest way to assure me and mama are getting vegetables and nutrients everyday.

The best eyes care will be to swallow regularly early in the morning on an empty stomach 1 tablespoon (15 ml) castor oil, for the Chinese medicine knows upon the assignment: eyes –> liver. In swallowing castor oil in a regular manner you will not only be able to push out the waste in your intestines but all the toxins deposed in your body via the liver too.

It IS a scam, and here is how it works. I ordered pills on 31 May, 2023, and they arrived on 11 June, so my "full 180-day" warranty was already 13 days gone before I saw the first pill! I took them for 170 days, but when I asked for a refund, they said (paraphrasing): "Tough luck, Sucker; your warranty started on 31May, more than 180 days ago, so we're keeping your money and you can do whatever you want with your worthless left-over pills."

Omg every time I look at my hoover brush I will think of my eyelashes- yuck, I use baby wipes. I put greens in every meal I make cooked or cold, I even use a bag of spinach like crisps/chips, great. Carrots are much better than junk food and far cheaper.

Had a question. Since having retina detachment surgery do you recommend any thing I could do to help my sight ? Eye Vitamins ? I eat many salads (greens) and take Zinc, which I read is good for your eyes. My sight has not come back much yet. Very blurry. Its 3 weeks since surgery. I have 3 more weeks until I get my check up. Ive been so paranoid and have so many questions.
