Skincare is a tricky beast. There are times when I’m stressed and my skin really starts to break out, and as I’m getting older I’m noticing wrinkles and fine lines start to form. It’s all normal and natural, and we each struggle at times with our skin in our own ways. Regardless of where we’re at, it helps to be kind to ourselves throughout our skin journey. In the video, we explore only one of the many pillars that impact our skin health: nutrition. It’s not the be-all-end-all solution to clear and glowing skin, but it can be a substantial contributor. We hope you enjoy it and learn some new things! 🤓
Yey i finally found it now i can show it to my mom🤩
Glow from the inside out? ✨ What’s your favorite snack for radiant skin?
🌿 "This video is amazing! It's so easy to understand and apply. Thank you for sharing this wonderful information!
Note to myself:
Yes collagen is important for skin among other things, but your body produces it on it's own as long as you eat enough protein
Keep eating the peanuts but also start eating walnuts. Walnuts give Omega 3.
Also, start eating oranges for vitamin C or eat brocoli.
Seeds are good for zink apparently
Not a nutritionist so idk why, and ofc my skin was healed with an overall healthier diet BUT one thing I noticed was when I would include more garlic in my diet my skin was MUCH healthier. I haven’t been eating that as much because it’s deadline month rn and have had a few breakouts but tbh I’ve also been reaching for more convenient foods too… bc of deadline month 😭😭
I would like to add that zinc and selenium from seafood or nuts are also important for the skin. They help reduce inflammation and protect the skin from UV damage. Have you tried them?
All probiotic foods and pill get murdered by stomach acid 100percent
I have terrible skin, big pores dry skin , tired looking eyes, i definitely need to sleep more and eat better!
I didn't know some of these tips! Thanks for sharing—can't wait for more skincare advice!
So confusing yaar
I produce a LOT of sebum and my skin is always dry! My face and scalp is constantly oily. My face is oily only maybe 30 minutes after a shower. I try to eat right, drink plenty of water, and moisturize. I am 32 and since the 6th grade I have had oily tight and wrinkly skin and seborrheic dermatitis so it's also flaky. If anyone else sees this and has also battled these issues and have had success please share with me.
I had a great experience with Planet Ayurveda's Gleaming Skin, Hair, Nails Formula within 2 months I feel reducing skin pores and acne
I have observed great results of manjishtha capsules by planet ayurveda.
very well.
It's best to just watch the video, but here's what I could get.
For collagen:
Beans, lentils, tofu, tempeh, nuts & seeds. (Get enough proteins)
Vitamin E: Almonds, sunflower seeds, leafy greens, avocados
Citrus fruits, bell peppers, broccoli
Zinc: nutritional yeast, seeds, pumpkin, sesame, hempseeds. legumes like lentils, beans, tofu, and whole grains. Soak/sprout beans, grains, and nuts/seeds or ferment to help with zinc absorption.
For dry skin:
Omega 3: walnuts, hemp seeds, chia seeds, ground chia seeds, and plant based supplements
Sebum:
Carbs that turn into sugars quickly (high glycemic foods) like sweet beverages, sweets, refined grains, etc. Can cause acne
Low glycemic: veggies, whole grains, nuts & seeds can help alleviate acne
Gut Health:
Probiotics: more fermented foods kimchi, saurkraut, plant based yogurt, miso
Inflammation:
