I prefer running cuz it makes me feel refreshed, but it's hard for me to stay consistent do it😭

I’ve been walking for years – about 5km fast pace, a mix of flat and hills for about 2 years.
Not getting many results really – however I was drinking a fair amount of beer so….. have just cut that out to see if it helps

Simply doing a calorie deficit while not addressing insulin resistance makes it impossible for some of us. It goes beyond willpower, because it quite literally feels like we are starving 24/7. Personally, I needed two things to make this work. #1) Eat a keto-type of diet to lower insulin resistance (thus curving a constant feeling of starvation) and #2) microdose a GLP-1 to help that leftover urge the keto diet could not overcome. Only the amount needed to stop feeling like you are starving 24/7. That's the only way it works for me.

who does 3000 steps a day. that is crazy lazy. 12000 is my minimal. i average 16k on a 1 year average. summer averages higher than winter.. tips. if your destination is under 2 km. walk. never use the elevator. do not let yourself watch tv unless you are past the 12k steps target. watch while you walk. treadmill in front of the tv can make you walk with out thinking. video looks like richmond bc.

I use to walk literally 8+ hours everyday for years only recently over the last 7 yrs have a failed
I'm over 200 lbs and want to lose weight tbh so here I am. Unfortunately I have to do low impact exercises and hopefully build up from there. I have a hip injury from basic training but walking is okay for me not sure I can walk that far in a single day. PCOS also complicates things for me but I will download the app and see how many steps I am taking.
I think it's just that my belly muscles are loose, it's not belly fat. I xrcise regularly, what I believe I need to do the right xrcises and not obsess about fat.

Food is everything… walking 3x week for an hour loses 3-4kg of fat in a year- this is nothing… you can add twice as that fat a year just from eating
only when i was trainng for marathons ( which meant a lot of running) was I able to lose weight. As I aged and ran shorter distances I couldn't keep weight off. The urge to eat kept winning. And I slowly kept on putting on weight. That's why the new weight drugs are so good. The urge to eat is reduced so you can exercise and lose weight as the body uses itself to fuel the execise.

Biggest reason I sort of regret leaving NYC for my previous job. NYC is the king of cities for walking. I purposely would walk from 33rd to my job which was a 25 min walk everyday and another 25 mins back to 33rd. Was incredible for my health and I was in probably the best shape of my life when incorporating with calorie deficit and eating healthy.
What about swimming?
