My calculation is 162g of protein daily. I guess I am setting myself up for injury because I don’t come near that and work out twice each day. I could never get that through normal diet.
For an average person 0.8 grams per 1 kilogram of your body weight is more than enough. If you do a lot of heavy weight training than you will need an extra 1 gram of protein per day to compensate for muscle tear. And don't fall for bs that you need to use protein shakes, they just want your money, as an average North American gets more than enough! protein from their diet
How ridiculous. Just multiply how many pounds you weigh don't bother to convert. "strive for 0.45 to 0.55 gram of protein per pound of body weight daily"

130 grams of protein a day ? The Avg. Person IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL BODY BUILDER !!!
The 131 grams equal what in the US measurements? Every calculator i try gives just a few ounces ….
Well that didn't explain anything! Thanks for the useless video 🙄

Weight in kilograme' divide by 2.2 times then …..?
1.4
Is this ideal body weight?
Thank You!
It's 1 gm per pound also
1.2 what ? Grams ?
My weight today is 227lbs but need to drop to 185lbs.
This is wrong tho
Your age, activity level, whether you are trying to lose weight or not should all be part of this calculation.
yeah because you use lbs. instead of KG you're making it hard for yourself
Wrong
Best formula for me is the one proposed by Dr. Layman:
3g per kg of ideal bodyweight.
You know most strongmen and pro bodybuilders think it’s .8/lb. It’s why the majority of them are a bit fat.
What's a kilogram?
Im glad she used my weight. So i dont have to calculate more. Lol
But diagram shows weight + sign, not divide like she said, so which way?
Thankyou ❤

First time someone straight to point thanks

But what happens when you start gaining weight?
Not clear. The factor needs to be more define.
Thank you, clear and precise.
lbs, pounds… 2.2, 0.8 does all this work with (universal mesures) Kg and gr?
If your in the uk you won't have yo convert from pounds to kg cause we already use kg or stone and onces.
Omit the first step by weighing yourself in kilograms!! Duh! 😂
Lol
finally! thank you lady
Best video, short, concise, informative. Thanks x Infinity

One should less the fat
I entered 1.4 kilogram of protein since I’m still a child
Very unhelpful😭
Which is right? Others say that Goal body weight x 1 is the formula? Ex. 180lbs x 1 = 180g.
Thankyou ❤
I had to multiply by .6 due to CKD. This has been tremendously helpful. Thank you.
I'm glad that's clear.
Extremely unhelpful
For a man how much is that? The average protein per kg
