    My calculation is 162g of protein daily. I guess I am setting myself up for injury because I don’t come near that and work out twice each day. I could never get that through normal diet.

    For an average person 0.8 grams per 1 kilogram of your body weight is more than enough. If you do a lot of heavy weight training than you will need an extra 1 gram of protein per day to compensate for muscle tear. And don't fall for bs that you need to use protein shakes, they just want your money, as an average North American gets more than enough! protein from their diet
